What you probably want to know.

Does Belegio replace my accounting software?

No. Belegio creates and sends customer documents (invoice, delivery note, credit note) directly from Shopify. For exporting to bookkeeping (sevdesk, Lexware Office) there's our sister app zrapp.

What happens with refunds?

Belegio automatically creates a credit note referencing the original invoice — the moment you trigger a refund in Shopify.

Do invoices contain all mandatory fields?

Yes. Belegio fills all mandatory fields automatically from your company and order data. Final tax assessment is up to your accountant.

Where is my data stored?

On servers in Frankfurt am Main (Germany). The DPA is signed automatically during setup.

Can I customize logo and colors?

Yes. Upload your logo and brand color, plus 5 templates with live preview right in the app.

Does Belegio work with Shopify Markets and multiple currencies?

Yes. Documents are created in the shop currency (tax-correct). Customer language is detected automatically.

I'm a small business (§19 UStG) — does it work?

Yes. One switch in settings: invoices are created without VAT and with the correct legal notice.
